Thousands of youths took over major street of Yola, Adamawa State yesterday. Drumming support for Labor Party LP presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Shops along the popular Atiku Abubakar road were shut down as the traders come out to cheer the youth and women who carried placards with inscription conversing support of Obi presidential ambition.
The Spokesman of the group known as coalitions of all Peter Obi campaign supporters, Jeremiah Peter told journalist that the road show was to inform the people of Adamawa State that only Obi has the key to save the children of the power.
According to him, the choice of Peter Obi is based on his competent, his credentials and age, which he said are the qualities that place him above other contestants.
He urge Nigerian to vote candidate based on their qualities and not ethnicity, region or religion, Jeremiah pointed out that the road show was also to sensitise the people of Adamawa on the important of registration for permanent voter card PVC to enable them elect leader of their choice.
He advice voters not to sell their votes pointing out that their children and grandchildren would suffer for the consequences of any selfish action.
